Industry Partnerships
We work directly with game studios and tech companies to create real-world learning experiences. Our partnerships bring authentic projects, expert mentorship, and genuine career pathways to our students.

Studio Collaborations
Real projects, real deadlines
Our students work on actual game development challenges from partner studios. Last semester, teams from our JavaScript track helped optimize mobile casino interfaces for three different companies. It's messy, demanding work — exactly what you'll face after graduation.
The Winter 2026 intensive program includes a month-long partnership project where you'll contribute to a real game in development. Previous students have seen their code ship in actual products, which beats any portfolio piece you could imagine.

Expert Mentorship
Learn from active developers
Our mentors aren't just teachers — they're working professionals who code during the day and share their expertise with our students in the evenings. They bring current industry problems, fresh perspectives, and honest feedback about what actually works.
Every student gets paired with a mentor for the final project phase. These relationships often continue well beyond the program, becoming valuable professional connections. The September 2025 cohort will have access to mentors from mobile gaming, browser-based platforms, and HTML5 game development.

Technology Access
Professional tools and platforms
Through our partnerships, students get hands-on experience with commercial game engines, analytics platforms, and development frameworks that would otherwise cost thousands of dollars. You'll work with the same tools used by major studios.
We've secured educational licenses for advanced debugging tools, performance analyzers, and cross-platform testing environments. The practical experience you gain with these systems gives you a significant advantage when applying for developer positions.
Why Partners Choose Us
Companies don't work with us out of charity. Our students solve real problems, bring fresh ideas, and often identify issues that experienced teams have overlooked. It's a genuine collaboration that benefits everyone involved.
- Direct access to emerging talent with current technical skills
- Fresh perspectives on user experience and game mechanics
- Cost-effective research and development support
- Pipeline for recruiting qualified junior developers
The relationship works both ways. Students get exposure to professional development practices, code review processes, and the reality of working within commercial constraints. Meanwhile, our partners gain access to motivated learners who aren't afraid to question assumptions or suggest improvements.

Kieran Vossenberg
Partnership Coordinator & Senior Developer
Kieran bridges the gap between our educational program and industry partners. With eight years in mobile gaming and social casino development, he understands what companies actually need from new hires. He spends his time making sure our curriculum stays relevant and that partnership projects challenge students without overwhelming them. "The best learning happens when you're slightly uncomfortable," he says, and his project selections reflect that philosophy.
